If the game takes place over multiple years as with the previous games, Admiral Nelson dies in 1805; Lord Byron is alive around this time...Of course, I feel that the late 18th century Britain is the only time period other than renaissance Italy when so many famous historical people were alive at the same time. There's Jack the Ripper (active around 1888), Field Marshall Kitchener, Charles Darwin (died 1882, Florence Nightingale, Queen Victoria (of course), Cecil Rhodes (who wanted to bring the whole world under British Rule - could be a templar with the queen), Arthur Conan Doyle writes about Sherlock Holmes (who could be an interpretation of the assassin). This would definitely be best due to the symbol of power and conquest which Victorian London represents - a result of templar success, perhaps?
