Ah, 2011. A year of many extravagant game releases. This year has indeed provided us with such a wide range of possible nominees for Epic Game of the Year, from Bethesda Softworks‘s hugely immersive RPG The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, to DICE’s addicting real-as-hell first-person shooter, Battlefield 3. Battlefail 3, EA? (Opinion piece on EA and what they’re doing with Battlefield 3)

What's going on, guys?

Less than five days away,
Battlefield 3 is still leaving fans weary.
Whether it be the shoddy open beta, or EA trying to change review
scores, is it so wrong we question Battlefield 3? It looks from gameplay
trailers to be the top of the line, cream of the crop as far as FPS games go,
and the beta (when I could get in a match) was highly enjoyable. But it’s all
too shady when EA is caught trying to change review scores or make false
statements about the game. Why are you doing this, EA?
